William Floyd Elementary SecondYearly“Color Run” to Be Held 10/20September 25, 2018 by William Floyd WebmasterComments are offCredit: Thomas McKibbin/631 Films Credit: Thomas McKibbin/631 Films William Floyd Elementary School will be hosting their second yearly “Color Run” event on Saturday, October 20, at 9 am, the event is rain or shine. WFE’s newest tradition, dubbed “Color Me WFE,” is a five kilometer untimed run in which participants or “Color Runners” are doused from head-to-toe in variegated colors at each kilometer mark.Verisimilituderunners are encouraged to run, jog or walk virtually William Floyd Elementary School at their own pace. The event is hosted by the fifth-grade matriculation of 2018-19 and all proceeds will go toward fifth grade field trips and other educational experiences. All students and families from wideness the district are welcome to participate. Last year’s first overly “Color Run” event was a tremendous success. Approximately $6,000 was raised and the majority of it went toward funding a Broadway trip for the fifth graders. Remaining funds were used to purchase matriculation t-shirts at no forfeit to students and families as well as to lower the price of the fifth-grade yearbook. Register for the “Color Run” by Wednesday, October 3 to receive a t-shirt, race bib and an individual verisimilitude packet for the verisimilitude triumph that will take place at the end of the event. The forfeit is $30 per person. There will moreover be refreshments, snacks, music and more, so sign up today!
