The William Floyd Learning Center will provide students with greater immersion into their own school polity by educating them in district as opposed to their previous placements out-of-district. It moreover offers greater integration opportunities with their peers in the neighboring William Floyd Elementary School in shared spaces, as well as the opportunity for mainstreaming into classes. An widow goody is that students no longer have to wits longer commutes to and from school.
